In July, the sales-to-production ratio of Chinese white fused alumina producers reached 108.82%, compared with 94.79% in the same period last year and 112.10% in June.
The ratio increased by 14.80% year-on-year, while declining by 2.93% month-on-month.
From January to July 2026, the average sales-to-production ratio of Chinese white fused alumina producers stood at 102.98%, up from 92.95% during the same period last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.00%.
What Was the Ratio Among Active White Fused Alumina Producers?
In July, the sales-to-production ratio of active Chinese white fused alumina producers reached 110.97%.
This represented an increase of 15.67% year-on-year, although it was 2.97% lower than the previous month.
The figures indicate that overall sales remained strong relative to production, with inventories from previous months also potentially contributing to sales volumes exceeding current monthly output.

Which Provinces Recorded the Highest Sales-to-Production Ratios?
In July, Shandong and Henan recorded the two highest sales-to-production ratios among China’s major white fused alumina-producing provinces.
Shandong recorded a sales-to-production ratio of 123.50%, compared with 110.15% in June and 94.88% in July 2025.
Meanwhile, Henan recorded a ratio of 94.74%, down from 114.87% in June and slightly below the 96.87% recorded in the same period last year.
The sharp increase in Shandong suggests relatively strong shipments and inventory reduction during the month, while Henan experienced a noticeable month-on-month slowdown.
